Although Twisted Sister's final studio album wasn't as commercially successful as its predecessors, it is still Twisted in every way and a great record. The album was supposed to be a Dee Snider solo record, but Atlantic forced Dee's hand and had the album released under the Twisted Sister name. Apparently, Dee Snider's Twisted Sister band mates didn’t actually play on the album. "Love Is For Suckers" was put together by Snider, Ronni Le Tekro (guitarist for TNT), Reb Beach (the soon to be guitarist for Winger), and producer Beau Hill. But since Dee Snider wrote all of Twisted Sister's material, the songwriting style on "Love Is For Suckers" wasn’t a far cry from Twisted Sister’s previous work.

"You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll" is Twisted Sister's second full-length album — and first major label release — this is the record that first put the band on MTV before 1984’s Stay Hungry took the airwaves by storm. For many fans, You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll is the definitive Twisted Sister “metal” album with one little power ballad to make the girls scream.

"Come Out And Play" is the follow up to the monstrous "Stay Hungry" album that catapulted Twisted Sister to the masses. "Come Out And Play" includes a number of stylistic diversions, including a lighthearted cover of the '50s standard "Leader of the Pack", and a song in which several non-heavy metal stars (Billy Joel, Brian Setzer, among others) are featured, "Be Chrool to Your Scuel". There are also songs that are reminiscent of the band's heavy metal past, like the title track and "Kill Or Be Killed".

Under the Blade is the debut studio album by American heavy metal band Twisted Sister, released on Secret Records on September 18, 1982. It featured a very brutal and rough sound, which was eventually totally ignored on a remixed re-release by Atlantic Records on July 14, 1985. Features bonus track "I'll Never Grow Up, Now".

Although New York's Twisted Sister wore makeup and stage costumes, the group was completely unlike other glam-metal bands of the early '80s. The group's 1983 major-label debut, „You Can't Stop Rock N' Roll“, is more akin musically to such harder-edged metal outfits as Motorhead and Metallica, while on stage, the band adopted a more freakish persona (while bands like Motley Crue did the opposite). Twisted Sister's U.S. debut wasn't the commercial breakthrough that its next release was (1984's hit „Stay Hungry“), but it did the job of introducing the band to the rest of America and solidified the band's standing in the U.K. (where Twisted Sister had already released an independent record).

Although Twisted Sister's final studio album wasn't as commercially successful as its predecessors, it is still Twisted in every way and a great record. Released in 1987, the album took its cue from the cock-rock, pop-metal explosion happening at the time. But despite the obvious influence of this trend, the band retains it's heavy sound.

On May 30th 2015, the first ever Metal Meltdown concert series event kicked off at The Joint at the world famous Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas. The legendary, multi-platinum selling hard rock band Twisted Sister performed an explosive 90 minute set of the band's biggest hits spanning their 40 year career. The concert was dedicated to the honor of Twisted Sister's iconic drummer, AJ Pero, whose tragic, sudden death shocked the music world only days after Twisted Sister announced that this would become the band's final tour ever. The band recruited renowned metal drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, The Winery Dogs, Avenged Sevenfold, Adrenaline Mob) to take the reins and his very first Twisted Sister appearance was captured by the Metal Meltdown camera crew. The first of the Metal Meltdown Concert series, Twisted Sister was a 24 multi-camera shoot, filmed in stunning HD, with a state-of-the-art LED stage set featuring custom animation. This monumental concert film attests to singer Dee Snider’s remark that Twisted Sister is “the best live band ever.”
