Having played with Tomorrow, the Pretty Things and the Pink Fairies, Twink should need no introduction to fans of underground rock. Following the ecstatic reception to our release of his legendary 1969 album THINK PINK earlier this year, Sunbeam is delighted to announce the forthcoming release of the mind-expanding YOU REACHED FOR THE STARS, which finds him collaborating with highly-regarded Italian psychedelic outfit the Technicolour Dream. Recorded in Rome and mastered at Abbey Road this summer, it comes complete with eight superb bonus tracks, and is sure to delight all lovers of psychedelic rock.

"Never Never Land" is a 1971 album by the UK underground group Pink Fairies. The group were formed when the three musicians from The Deviants, having sacked their singer and leader Mick Farren, returned from a disastrous tour of the West Coast of North America and hooked up with Twink. These musicians had previously collaborated on Twink's Think Pink prior to the tour, and during the tour Twink, Farren and Steve Peregrin Took had used The Pink Fairies Motorcycle Club and All-Star Rock and Roll Band name, taken from a story written by Jamie Mandelkau, as an umbrella for their activities, including one gig in Manchester.

Like long hair man - as the man said. From the mystic swirls of time, or the 60s, to put it another way, came the Fairies, who begat the Pink Fairies and many happy hours of psychedelic bliss. To get the chronology right, the 'Live At The Roundhouse' album first came out on Big Beat in 1982, but was originally recorded at the famous engine shed in July 1975. Then in 1978 drummer Twink cut a 12" E.P. with some friends, which came out on Chiswick Records and produced the wonderfully mixed genre "Psychedelic Punkeroo". Finally a re-formed Pink Fairies came out with 'Previously Unreleased' in '84.They're all here, Larry Wallis, Duncan 'Sandy' Sanderson, Paul Rudolph, Russell Hunter, Twink and even half a song from Mick Farren. I always thought "Uncle Harry's Last Freakout" just about summed it up, but then 15 years of the summers of love and it's all back with us.

Very good Pleasure Island 1996 Pink Fairies reunion effort, this title was released by drummer Twink's own label, Twink Records of a limited edition of 1,000 copies. So, obviously 'Pleasure Island' is often hard to find.

What a Bunch of Sweeties is a 1972 album by the UK underground group Pink Fairies. Twink had left the band before the recording of this album. Former The Move guitarist Trevor Burton occasionally joined the band for gigs and contributes to a couple of tracks, otherwise the band is the same line up stranded in San Francisco as The Deviants in '69 following the loss of vocalist Mick Farren.

A unique 23 track collection devoted to the work of the various members of Deep Purple before they joined the band. There has long been interest in this area of their careers. Many of these tracks are now impossibly expensive to buy on vinyl. A few have been issued on disparate CD compilations but this is the first time anyone has attempted to try and bring together this early material. The label has unearthed a number of really rare tracks, which even hard core collectors were previously unaware of. Numerous tracks are also on CD for the first time, including collectable singles, and there are even some previously unissued tracks.

S.F. Sorrow is the fourth album by the English rock group The Pretty Things. Released in 1968, it is one of the first rock concept albums. S.F. Sorrow is without doubt a classic. Originally recorded at Abbey Road in 1967 it was the first and the most complete "Rock-Opera" to be recorded and released, pre-dating The Who's 'Tommy' by a full year.
