Santana-Caravanserai QUADRAPHONIC MIX on DVD-A 96/24 ONLY

Santana "Caravanserai" QUADRAPHONIC MIX DVD-A only (1972)
DVD-A Only ISO (Image + Front & Back Covers) | 96/24 4.0 LPCM | ISO 15 x 190,7 MB + 152 MB
Genre: Classic Rock/Latin Fusion | Label: Columbia CAQ 31610 | Source: SQ LP

Caravanserai marked a new beginning in Santana' musical direction. Carlos played his wailing solos quite a bit less and let the ensemble take over-and what an ensemble.
This is one of Prog-Latin Rock's first masterpieces. Briefly reunited by Gregg Rollie, the original singer, and joined by an astounding young bass player, Doug Rauch (RIP), this is a REAL journey into the beauty of the desert.
THis is the same 96/24 rip that was used in the DTS-CD, but a bit "spiffed up": some light izotoping (H Exc, a bit of puncher and some dithering),
AND
with a great slideshow created by yours truly , in which you'll see the lyrics and some cool backgrounds.
Enjoy!

The Wall was Roger Waters' crowning accomplishment in Pink Floyd. It documented the rise and fall of a rock star (named Pink Floyd), based on Waters' own experiences and the tendencies he'd observed in people around him. By then, the bassist had firm control of the group's direction, working mostly alongside David Gilmour and bringing in producer Bob Ezrin as an outside collaborator…

Writing on the Wall's only album was theatrical heavy blues-psychedelic-rock that, despite its power and menace, was too obviously derivative of better and more original artists to qualify as a notable work. The organ-guitar blends owe much to the Doors, Procol Harum, and Traffic, though the attitude is somehow more sour and ominous than any of those groups. The vocals are sometimes pretty blatant in their homages to Arthur Brown, particularly when Linnie Paterson climbs to a histrionic scream; Jim Morrison, Gary Brooker, and Stevie Winwood obviously left their imprints on him too.

Based on the groundbreaking concept album, Roger Waters The Wall could be called a concept film: it's a state-of-the-art show that dazzles the senses, combined with an intensely personal road trip that deals with the loss Roger has felt throughout his life due to war. On stage and now on film, Waters has channeled his convictions into his art and his music. With Roger Waters The Wall, Waters – together with his fellow musicians and his creative collaborators – brings audiences an exultant ride of a rock and roll concert, and delivers an unforgettable, deeply emotional experience.

Shawn Phillips is my guru, a spiritual guide if you will. After listening to this album I am always infused with energy and good will and feel I have the strength to carry on no matter what is pulling me down in life. Shawn is my candidate for the most overlooked / underrated musician of our time, he’s an extremely fine musician and vocalist with an incredible vocal range that will blow your mind.

Over the years Mr. Phillips has worked with Peter Robinson quite a bit, you might know him from Quatermass (the band). Peter Robinson shines quite a bit on Rumplestiltskin's Resolve, another Quatermass alum (John Gustafson on bass) shows up on the “Spiteful” track.
