At once aurally expansive, visually seductive, and cleverly compelling, "It's Been A Pleasure" fuses together experimental rock and fresh neo-soul vibes with modern prog, jazz, and a dose of electronic chaos, yielding an impressive debut album from Mirage. Based out of Gainesville, Florida, Mirage formed in late 2016 and have been quickly captivating audiences with an extremely high-energy live show, seamlessly winding between bright, powerful melodies and dark, menacing grooves. The synergy found from each members' influence on Mirage's sound is a true testament to Gainesville's beautifully diverse musical ecosystem.

Even though he'll always be best known as the original frontman for Wall of Voodoo who brought a skewed, spaghetti western sensibility to new wave in the early ‘80s, Stan Ridgway has been a solo singer/songwriter for a lot longer than his WoV tenure, having released his first solo album in 1986. There's always been a sort of Raymond Chandler/film noir feeling to Ridgway's narratives, and that remains true on Neon Mirage…

Much of Mirage A Trois is similar to the debut album, but most notable is "Claire's Song", which would anticipate the future Yellowjackets with its sequencer and rhythmic elements. Ditto "Goin' Home", a slower, reflective tune and a concert favorite. "Nimbus" also predates the more complex compositions the group would create on later albums, expanding beyond the catch-all "fusion" genre.

Don't Disturb This Groove is the fourth studio album recorded by American R&B/electro-pop band The System. Released by Mirage/Atlantic Records in 1987, the album became a highlight of The System's career, as it has been the most commercially successful album, surpassing their hugely successful debut, Sweat. It reached No. 62 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the R&B Albums chart. The album was produced by its band members, David Frank and Mic Murphy. Successful singles from this album include the band's first (and to date, only) top 10 hit on the pop charts with the contemporary R&B ballad title track, "Don't Disturb This Groove" and urban hit "Nighttime Lover". Doug E. Fresh is featured on the track "House of Rhythm".

Go Mirage is the 3rd full-length album from Chicago cinematic-rock trio To Destroy A City. This follow-up to 2014's post-rock paragon Sunless has an added immediacy due to the soaring nature of guitarist Michael Marshall's step toward the mic. Yes… There are vocals! Post-rock for the most part, has mainly utilized vocals as a texture or afterthought. Yet, To Destroy A City have adeptly included vocals into their cinematic tapestries with ease, and in the process added another layer of melody, modesty, and a surprising sense of hope to their already affecting guitar-driven compositions. There is an air of instant gratification with Go Mirage. It seems to push you forward to the next horizon, much as its title might suggest…
