This is an electrical and fantastic soundtrack of the wonderful fantasy movie of 1986, starring Jennifer Connoly and DAvid Bowie, Labyrinth. From start to finish it is electrical and rich in fantasty rock and some electronic instrumental music too. This album includes the beautiful song of loneliness and hope, Underground, the catchy and super Magic Dance, the fun and cheeky Chilly Down, the gentle As The Wall Falls Down and the romantic Within You. This album was proof that Bowie was still one of the greatest talents of the musical world by 1986, and had lost none of his ability to create beautiful and enchanting music.

One Man and His Cow (original title: La Vache - The Cow) is a 2016 French comedy film directed by Mohamed Hamidi.
The Lebanese, Paris based trumpeter Ibrahim Maalouf is a versatile musician who creates with charm and musical power wonderful solo albums like ‘Ullusions‘, ‘Wind‘ (music for the silent film ‘La Proie du Vent‘ 1926 by René Clair) and his three CD box ‘Dia‘. The use of electronics, solid jazz and trumpet section with four trumpets on ‘Illusions‘ makes him a pioneer who put the trumpet in a broader perspective.

Swimming in mellotron
“Waters of change” was Beggar’s opera’s best album in my opinion, full of strong melodies and well constructed songs. Having introduced themselves with the innovative, classically driven “Act one”, the band invested in a mellotron, which instantly became the dominant instrument in their sound. The band moved away from the intricate symphonic prog of their first album, towards the art rock of the Moody Blues and Barclay James Harvest.

My Blueberry Nights is notable not only as the first English-language film by director Wong Kar Wai but also for the acting debut of Norah Jones. It's surprising, then, that the soundtrack only includes one song from Jones, "The Story," the only new song on the set and one that Jones has stated reflects her doubts about becoming an actress. It's not appreciably different than anything else Jones has recorded to this point, a slow, jazzy ballad featuring her moody vocals and piano in a trio setting. As for the rest, it's an appealing mix of R&B (Mavis Staples, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding), jazz (Cassandra Wilson), a couple of Cat Power tunes, and the ubiquitous Ry Cooder, who always makes any soundtrack worth a listen.

5 stars it’s the RUSH album… no ordinary songs! Guitar, bass and drums are incredible! As hard rock as progressive! The guitar sound is unique and it takes most of the place without giving you the feeling that other instruments are not present enough!!

Essential: A masterpiece of progressive rock music
I find it amazing how many groups there were on the cusp of something as big as the development of an entire genre of music. Progressive rock was just starting to kick it into high gear in 1971 and bands like Spring were working on important recordings like this self- titled set.
At first, I was not sure what the picture of the dead soldier meant but after listening to the albums lyrics, it makes more sense. The album certainly has a theme. “The Prisoner,” “Fool’s Gold,” “Shipwrecked Soldier,” “Golden Fleece,” and “Grail” certainly have an explorer war like premise.
