Dragon Forge: The Draconic Prophecies - Book 2 - James Wyatt
English | 2008 | 408 Pages | ISBN: 0786948701 | EPUB | 2.84 MB

Dragon Forge was everything a D&D novel should be. The characters are better developed in the sequel, and are dynamic and compelling. Wyatt flowers out their respective psychologies nicely. I also admired his writing style: he uses no more words than he needs to without sacrificing depth of imagination or compromising your mental visual interpretation. He also occasionally provides some insightful and profound thoughts within the action. The novel follows Gaven, Cart, Darraun and Rienne and the schemers and conspirators of the last novel, including Haldren, through the latest unfoldings of their destinies or machinations. There is exciting adventure, exotic locales, political intrigue, romance, internal and external battles, great friendship and great enmity, and a sense of building to an electric crux as the world's fate hangs in the balance (or lack thereof).
