Pianist Kathryn Kaye once again, as she has on every recording, displays an uncommon grace and elegant simplicity on Reflected In A Flowing Stream. Kaye's music is suffused with not just ear-pleasing melodicism but also straightforward sincerity, untarnished by the need to show off through pianistic pyrotechnics. The warmth woven into Kaye's playing has been one of her calling cards since her first release, Dreaming Still (2011), and it's this musical characteristic that continues to set her apart from many of her contemporaries. Reflected…is a bit darker at times than her previous albums, not in any kind of off-putting fashion, but in a more introspective way, some of the songs here are like delving deep into memory and perhaps recalling harder times.

Pennac Daniel - Storia di un corpo
Feltrinelli | 2012 | ISBN: 8807019213 | 341 pages | EPUB | 3 MB

3 agosto 2010.

MP3 320 kbps | 5 CDs, 05:11:29 min | Covers included | 719 mb
Genre: Classical / Label: EMI

This set of CD is EMI's ultra-low-cost boxed series, although the ultra-low prices, but this series there are still many excellent recordings, such as Ke Luotan's Beethoven Symphony Complete Works, Chiclini's Saty Piano works and so on. In this set of Mahler songs, it is worth noting that Teng Shi Te Te Te's "song of the earth", in its symphony is not included. In addition, the Baker Jazz singing "Luke Te song" and Fisher - Di Si test and Barenboim cooperation piano version of "Junior Magic" is also a very good version. But unfortunately did not include Canta "lament the song", but rather repeated the collection of the symphony of Teng Tate's total in the first 2,3,4 contains vocal movement, so it can not be called A song collection.

A world might seem to divide the unbridled Romanticism of Berlioz from the highly controlled art of Rameau, standard-bearer of the French Late Baroque. And yet, at a distance of less than a century ('Hippolyte' was premiered in 1733, the 'Fantastique' in 1830), the same passion links two works more similar than their stylistic divergence might suggest. There is the same audacity in the orchestration, combined with an innate sense of drama that springs repeated rhythmic and harmonic surprises.
