2010 four CD anthology from the British Progressive Rock band, the most comprehensive overview of their career, focusing on Camel's long association with Decca which yielded the group's best loved and most significant work. Rainbow's End features key album tracks from Camel, Mirage, The Snow Goose, Moonmadness, Rain Dances, Breathless, I Can See Your House From Here and Nude, plus rare studio and live recordings made for Decca Records and the BBC. Housed in a hard-back book package, the lavish booklet contains previously unseen photographs, memorabilia and essay by Mark Powell. One of Decca's later signings during the first `progressive' age which began in the late '60s, Camel would prove to be one of the label's most commercially successful bands and one of the most enduring. Unlike many of their contemporaries, Camel have survived over three decades in the music business and still command a loyal and devoted following throughout the world, both in concert and on record.

Some refer to The Miraculous Hump Returns from the Moon as the greatest album of all time! The story behind this LP, according to legend, is that when Hello Hello from Sopwith Camel's debut lp was used for a TV commercial, the band became inspired to make a new record. They supposedly went to Hawaii, enjoyed the herbal splendors the island is known for, then returned to California to record The Miraculous Hump Returns from the Moon. The record does indeed sound like a band drifting through clouds, as the cover illustration suggests. The lead track, Fazon became a minor FM radio hit, (when FM radio was still underground). It sounds like Traffic's Low Spark meets Steely Dan's Dr. Woo meets Flying off of the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour…

The Snow Goose is the third studio album by the band Camel, released in 1975. The critical success of "The White Rider" suite (based on J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings and appearing on the band's previous 1974 album, Mirage), inspired the group to write more novel-inspired conceptual suites. "The Snow Goose" was inspired by the short story of the same title, written by Paul Gallico in 1941.
