I recommend all books by this author, but I prefer the works of Wang Xiaoping, published by 1stWorld much better.
I also love the fact that the publisher, 1stWorld Library (or 1stWolrd Publishing) has made the text slightly larger which is a blessing for my thirty-something eyes. Great job. I have dozens of books by this publisher…

Starting with the publication of their seminal bestseller, Future Shock, Alvin and Heidi Toffler have given millions of readers new ways to think about personal life in today’s high-speed world with its constantly changing, seemingly random impacts on our businesses, governments, families and daily lives. Now, writing with the same rare grasp and clarity that made their earlier books classics, the Tofflers turn their attention to the revolution in wealth now sweeping the planet. And once again, they provide a penetrating, coherent way to make sense of the seemingly senseless.

The Culture Consumers: a Study of Art and Affluence in America by Alvin Toffler
PDF | 1964 | 263 pages | ISBN: 1199154814 | English | 22 MB

This book shows us the potentials our lives can have if we join the “fast” civilization rather than remaining mired in the “slow” First and Second Wave civilizations. The Third Wave brings power shifts, including a shift in the nature of power itself, and it invites us to use more high-quality power—knowledge—and less lower-quality power, like force and wealth, in order to live better ourselves and help others do the same.

The Alvin Lee Band - Freefall (1980)  Music

Blues Rock

Listen to the very first cut on Freefall and you'll understand the basic problem with the Alvin Lee Band: the track is a nice piece of mid-tempo rock, rather catchy, but is Alvin Lee in there anywhere? Repeated listenings reveal that he might be singing background vocals, and that guitar lead sounds like a slick studio player who listened to a few Ten Years After records one afternoon…
Spike Robinson & Al Cohn Quintet - Henry B. Meets Alvin G. Once In A Wild (1987)

Label: Capri Records | Rel:1987

After working as an engineer for 34 years, Spike Robinson finally became a full-time musician late in 1985. This outing with fellow tenor Al Cohn and a rhythm section comprised of pianist Richard Wyands, bassist Steve La Spina and drummer Akira Tana finds Robinson holding his own with his better-known sidemen. The two tenors had similar but complementary styles (Cohn's tone at this point in time was deeper and darker than Spike's), and their interplay and occasional tradeoffs are delightful. In addition to some standards, they perform Miles Davis' "Sippin' at Bells," Bob Brookmeyer's "Rustic Hop" and Johnny Mandel's "Low Life" on this easily recommended LP.

Another solid live album by Mr. Lee. He was in his environment on stage and he was a great rock and roll guitar player…

Hard Rock / Classic Rock / Blues Rock / Rock & Roll

This rather awkwardly titled album (Alvin Lee's horoscope sign is Sagittarius) is a true solo project from the ex-Ten Years After frontman. He plays virtually all the instruments except keyboards, overdubbing himself in his home studio to impressive effect. Musically, he's not blazing any new territory at this point in his career, content with sticking to the Chuck Berry styled rocking blues boogies and the country twang he has dabbled in for 40 years…
