What a Bunch of Sweeties is a 1972 album by the UK underground group Pink Fairies. Twink had left the band before the recording of this album. Former The Move guitarist Trevor Burton occasionally joined the band for gigs and contributes to a couple of tracks, otherwise the band is the same line up stranded in San Francisco as The Deviants in '69 following the loss of vocalist Mick Farren.

In 1914, a train pulled into a provincial British railway station. The porter, a curious chap, asked the regiment of soldiers where they were from. "Ross-shire," one called down, but the porter heard "Russia." And so began a rumor that led to Germany losing World War I. Often the history we learn at school is only half the story. We hear of heroic deeds and visionary leaders, but we never hear about the people who turned up late for court and thereby changed the law, or who stood in the wrong queue at university and accidentally won a Nobel Prize. The Great Cat Massacre: A History of Britain in 100 Mistakes demonstrates that the nation is as much a product of error as design.

Before the Internet became widely known as a global tool for terrorists, one perceptive U.S. citizen recognized its ominous potential. Armed with clear evidence of computer espionage, he began a highly personal quest to expose a hidden network of spies that threatened national security. But would the authorities back him up? Cliff Stoll's dramatic firsthand account is "a computer-age detective story, instantly fascinating [and] astonishingly gripping" (Smithsonian).

The complete BBC radio sessions, highlights from three concert broadcasts and over three and a half hours of interviews. Deluxe lift off lid 3-piece cigarette style box and 36 page booklet. Between February 1973 and October 1977, Queen recorded six sessions for the BBC – twenty four new and alternative recordings spanning four albums. They revisited nineteen different songs in all: My Fairy King (the first Queen song ever to be broadcast on radio), Liar, Son And Daughter, Doing All Right, Great King Rat, Modern Times Rock’n’Roll, Ogre Battle, Nevermore, White Queen, See What A Fool I’ve Been (a song that never appeared on any Queen studio album), Now I’m Here, Stone Cold Crazy, Flick Of The Wrist, Tenement Funster, Spread Your Wings, My Melancholy Blues, It’s Late, the only known studio recording of their dramatically different full-band ‘fast’ arrangement of We Will Rock You and the song that became their very first single Keep Yourself Alive. All six sessions have been remastered and feature here together for the very first time.
