Random Access Memories is the fourth studio album by French electronic music duo Daft Punk. The album pays tribute to the late 1970s and early 1980s era of music in the United States, particularly the sound of Los Angeles recordings of the period. Daft Punk recorded the album largely using live instrumentation with session musicians, and limited the use of electronics to drum machines, a modular synthesizer and vintage vocoders. The album also features collaborations with Panda Bear, Julian Casablancas, Todd Edwards, DJ Falcon, Chilly Gonzales, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers, Paul Williams and Pharrell Williams. The album has received widespread critical acclaim.

Film about the pop culture phenomenon that is Daft Punk, the duo with 12 million albums sold worldwide and seven Grammy awards. Throughout their career Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have always resisted compromise and the established codes of show business. They have remained determined to maintain control of every link in the chain of their creative process. In the era of globalisation and social networks, they rarely speak in public and neither do they show their faces on TV.

Progressive/Power Metal

DGM originally formed in 1994 as an entirely instrumental band. Aggressive, melodic and progressive, DGM is a fun power-metal band with a pleasant neo-classical flavor. Their classic trademark are catchy melodies, explosive riffs, choir harmonies and a powerful rhythm section. As for comparisons, they sit comfortably with the likes of DREAM THEATER, SYMPHONY X and VANDEN PLAS. They went through a series of personnel changes and have released six studio albums since 1994, including a mini CD. Their first official release is the self-produced mini CD "Random Access Zone".
