Ray Wilson - Songs for a Friend (2016)
Alternative Rock, Progressive Rock, Singer-Songwriter | MP3 CBR 320 kbps | 00:43:13 | 101 MB
Label: Jaggy D Records | Release Year: 2016

Inspired by the many intimate experiences from his acoustic storytelling concerts, Ray decided to write a collection of musical short stories. Stories, simply, about life. Stiltskin guitarist and collaborator, Uwe Metzler, sketched out some acoustic ideas, and the journey began. Moving through jealousy, anger, hurt, regret, disappointment, fate, and love. Ray often exposes his innermost feelings through his music, and the minimalist production on this collection of songs provides a particularly intimate expression of those emotions. Ray's love of the road has been his musical lifeline, and the journey has been good for him. Whether a concert or an album they are a journey for the soul.

Lars Gullin - The Liquid Moves Of Lars Gullin Lost Jazz Files [1959 - 1963] (2016)
Jazz, Fusion, Bebop | MP3 320 kbps | 63:17 | ~140 Mb
Label: Sonorama | Tracks: 09 | Rls.date: 2016

Previously unknown modern jazz tracks by the legendary Swedish baritone saxophonist, recorded 1959-63 in Europe, featuring icons like Sahib Shihab, Dexter Gordon, Flavio Ambrosetti, Rolf Billberg, Nils Lindberg and others. I was very impressed by Lars. He had a very melodic and liquid way of moving through the changes (Chet Baker). Carefully mastered recordings from collectors' archives, ranging from quintet to octet, on limited vinyl LP and 6-page-Digipack-CD, with new liner notes and unpublished photos from European jazz archives. CD and digital album come with bonus tracks from Denmark: three unreleased vocal jam sessions from 1960 featuring bassist Erik Moseholm.
