A collection of musical gems by great contemporary composers of the minimalist and postminimalist trend. Music of Steve Reich (Vermont Counterpoint, New York Counterpoint - first recording of the saxophone version), Arvo Pärt (Pari Intervallo), Hans Otte (Eins), Ludovico Einaudi (Quattro Passi), Henryk Mikołaj Górecki (For you Ann Lill, Op.58), skilfully interpreted by Andrea Ceccomori and Goffredo Degli Esposti on the flutes, Paul Wehage on the saxophones, Cecilia Chailly on harp and Fabrizio Ottaviucci on piano.
The Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack, which features new music from Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch, be released October 5th via Alcon Sleeping Giant Records, Pitchfork reports. Along with Zimmer and Wallfisch's score, the soundtrack will feature an original song from singer Lauren Daigle, "Almost Human." A handful of classic songs from Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley will also appear on the record, including the former's "Summer Wind" and the latter's "Suspicious Minds."
The two Johann Adolf Hasse compositions recorded here are proof of the both high quality of his music and the broad range of styles which he had at his disposal. Once again Hans-Christoph Rademann offers an exemplary interpretation of music from the Court of Dresden, to which he has often dedicated his musical efforts.

To awake such primal forces and to make them audible and sensible is one of the objectives of Hans Lüdemann's ROOMS. They are translated into a sensual and physical musical approach. The musicians embody these musical elements and forces, they are continuously charged with their energies and transfer those to the listener in musical processes. The blue is also the blue of jazz, of 'blue notes', of melancholy and pain.
