Steve Gadd is one of the most sought-after studio musicians, in the world. Regarded as the most influential drummer in contemporary music, Gadd can play anything, easily bridging different musical styles. His feel, technique, and musicality on such tunes as Paul Simon's "Fifty Ways", Steely Dan's "Aja", and Chick Corea's "Nite Sprite" were so awe-inspiring and his concepts so innovative that they instantly assured his special position in the history of the percussive arts.

High South - Our Way Back Home
Rock, Country | MP3 CBR 320 kbps | 00:57:14 | 132 MB
Label: Decca / Universal | Tracks: 15 | Rls.date: 2013

The tendency to do with textual chewed platitudes itself makes this album a care in itself without any depth. I will not bore you with examples, but take it from me that the rhyming of South High yields shocking lyrics. Fans of the genre who can see through the fingers have a nice slice at. No more and no less.

Soft Rock, Contemporary Christian, Guitar Virtuoso

Keaggy actually recorded the majority of this album years ago, but it was not considered commercially viable and, therefore, remained unreleased. It is extremely fortunate that it has been made available, because this contains some of Keaggy's most beautiful and touching work. It is very much a gentle acoustic album, comparable to Beyond Nature with vocals, with personal lyrics related to family and Christian struggles. Particular strengths include the beautiful duet with his daughter "Father-Daughter Harmony," and the lyrically powerful "It Could've Been Me" and "Maker of the Universe," and the exquisite "Let Everything Else Go."
