The Age Of Plastic is the 1980 debut album from British group Buggles (or The Buggles). This is the original 8-song version of the album that featured the hit songs "Living In The Plastic Age", "Clean, Clean", "Elstree" and the first song to be broadcast on MTV, "Video Killed The Radio Star". The group consisted of Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes, plus associate Bruce Woolley, who wrote and performed the first version of "Video Killed The Radio Star". This is taken from the 1990 U.S. pressing on Island Records when Island moved from Atlantic to Polygram.

The fun, quirky single "Video Killed the Radio Star" garnered The Buggles international attention in 1980, but it was just one of The Age of Plastic's fascinating, futuristic visions. From the title track's opening strains, Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes transform your living room into a world of Jetson-like proportions…

Drama is the tenth studio album by the English rock band Yes, released on 18 August 1980 by Atlantic Records. It is their only album to feature Trevor Horn as lead vocalist, following the departure of Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman in March 1980 after unsuccessful recording sessions for a new album in Paris and London. Horn was joined by keyboardist Geoff Downes, his partner in the new wave band The Buggles. Drama was recorded in a short amount of time as a tour was already booked prior to the change in personnel. It marked a departure in the band's musical direction with songs more accessible and aggressive, and featuring the use of modern keyboards and a vocoder.

1980 was a great year for the legendary Yes. While the Close To The Edge line-up was taking a break, founding member Chris Squire maintained the legendary status of the band along with long- time band mates Steve Howe & Alan White, with new members Trevor Horn & Geoff Downes (The Buggles), and created the harder rocking masterpiece, Drama. With stand outs like "Into The Lens", it was easy to hear why this new edgy Yes sound truly resonated in the eighties. Check out the amazing musicianship on "Run Through The Light" and "Tempus Fugit", all of which made Drama the classic album it is today!
