Burning Bridges is the thirteenth studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi. Produced by John Shanks, it was released worldwide on August 21, 2015, through Mercury Records. It is the first album without former guitarist Richie Sambora, who left the band in 2013, and the last one released through Mercury, meaning the end of a 32 years old relationship. According to Jon Bon Jovi, the album serves as a "fan record" to tie in with an accompanying international tour: "It’s songs that weren’t finished, that were finished, a couple of new ones like the one we released as a single "We Don't Run".

Of all the rock bands that came of age in the 1980s, Bon Jovi ranks among the least likely to still be making records and playing arenas 30 years later. The band always seemed too light and frothy to have any real staying power.
But “Burning Bridges” is the Bon Jovi’s 13th studio album, although the first without founding member and guitarist Richie Sambora, who left two years ago for personal reasons. Fittingly, it’s largely a collection of songs from the Sambora years that have been polished and released to promote an upcoming European tour.

Jon Bon Jovi's first official solo album, Destination Anywhere (apparently Blaze of Glory doesn't count because it was a soundtrack) finds the hard rocker attempting to simultaneously make his signature sound more mature and more contemporary. Producer Stephen Lironi tones down the sample-driven rhythms that characterized his work with Black Grape, giving Bon Jovi a laid-back and modern musical bed. Of course, the singer chooses to write melodies and lyrics very similar to those of his full-time band, only less bombastic. And that's the key to Destination Anywhere – it really couldn't have been made by the band, because there are too many subtle sonics and melodies for the group. So, in a sense, it's a breakthrough for Bon Jovi, because it is the first time he sounds like he's come to terms with adulthood. That doesn't mean Destination Anywhere is a complete success – it, like his other records, is hampered by filler – but none of his contemporaries were able to age this well, and the record is a fine example of late-'90s mainstream pop.

Lost Highway is the tenth studio album by American rock band Bon Jovi. Produced by John Shanks and Dann Huff, the album was recorded at Black Bird Studios, Nashville and NGR Recording, Hollywood. The album influences the band's rock sound with that of country music following the success of a country version of the band's 2006 single "Who Says You Can't Go Home", a duet with Jennifer Nettles, which reached No. 1 on the U.S. country chart in May 2006. Following the success had with the duet version of "Who Says You Can't Go Home", there are two songs on the album produced in collaboration with other artists, namely "We Got It Going On" featuring Big & Rich and the single "Till We Ain't Strangers Anymore" featuring LeAnn Rimes.
