Three hours before the sun went down, creating a beautiful atmosphere at the ´Bang Your Head´ festival in Balingen/Germany, where Axel Rudi Pell celebrated his 25th anniversary as a solo artist with a once-in-a-life-time performance. The CDs and DVDs document a show that is unlikely to ever be seen again in this constellation – a special present the protagonist had worked hard for. As Axel is an early bird, the whole organisation was fairly easy. Of course there were rehearsals, but only one day before the show. Over fifty minutes worth of footage from those remarkable sessions are featured on the DVD and Blu-ray versions of this package. During those sessions Axel realized that something unique was happening.

Not too long ago (a year or so) and while Axel Rudi Pell, was touring in support of his latest opus “Into the Storm”, the “25th Anniversary” of his came up and with it, the idea to celebrate the proceedings in a special way, so the stage was set, for a live performance at that years installation of “Bang Your Head” festival in Balingen/Germany, that was special and memorable for a variety of reasons. For the first time in absolutely ages, Axel, did perform a short four song set with his original band Steeler (not to be confused with the Ron Keel led American “Steeler” which also featured guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen) then a set that utilized as many of the studio singers as possible, was performed, with them, singing their “own” era’s material and finally a bunch of classic rock tracks were performed by the band enlisting the aid of some special guests/friends. All in all the whole show lasted for almost three hours and celebrated the long history of ARP, in the best way imaginable!

"Leaving The End Open" is the third studio album by the American rock group Hardline. This is their first album since 2002's II. The new line up for the album features two new band members, Jamie Brown on bass guitar and Atma Anur on drums. "Leaving The End Open" is a mellower album than previous Hardline releases. Johnny's vocals sound wonderful and the musicianship is tantamount to faultless. The production is stunning too. You really can hear every note by every instrument at every single moment.

Hardline was born from a union between brothers Johnny and Joey Gioeli and Neal Schon (Journey) and Deen Castronovo, who were just coming out of the wildly successful Bad English. After the massive debut album, Double Eclipse, they returned 10 years later with II and two more albums followed. Fast forward to 2016 and Human Nature is the heaviest and strongest album since their beloved debut. The combination of Gioeli's vocals, Josh Ramos' incendiary riffs and Alessandro Del Vecchio's musical and production talents have created an album for the ages. A must for melodic hard rock fans.

Rob Rock is back with his fourth solo album, Garden of Chaos. After being a fantastic, yet often under recognized pieces of some memorable metal releases over the years (Joshua, Angelica, Impellitteri, Avantasia, Warrior, and Axel Rudi Pell), Rob is finally starting to make a name for himself as a solo artist. Garden of Chaos intertwines many influences from Rob's previous work, while staying on course with the heavier direction that Holy Hell paved. Compared to Holy Hell, this album is more melodic, and features a more distinct 80's feel and sound. Of course, the mixing and production are top notch and very up to date, yet the guitar tone has a classic, 80's metal sound that is a natural and comfortable sound for Rob.

His solo career started in 1991 with the release of "When Love Comes Down", followed in 1999 by "Empires", the album which included the theme "I'm Always Here" for "Baywatch". In 2008 Jamison teamed up with the other former SURVIVOR bandmate Jim Peterik, who wrote and produced for him the acclaimed album "Crossroads Moment". On the heels of this superb release, Jimi toured Europe a few times, culminating with an appearance at the popular Firefest in the UK in 2011.
