Shaping The Unknown (2006). The debut album of Circular defines an opulent style of meditative ambient music and celebrates the pure sound engines of perfect analogue synthesizer music. Johannes Riedel created an elegant and stylish form of drone music to build ellipses in-between sculptures blowing through the triangular center. This aural paintings discover sacred landscapes of drifting loops, analogue synthesizers and the brilliant use of guitars to set up an unearthly visionary wall of sound. The method of Circular's music dispose a special principle where tracks build up slowly and take the period of concentration, of taking shape, followed overwhelming massive soundworlds from outer states. Sounds are swirling around the cuboid and adhere at the cognition through unique scapes of the swelling and digressing resonance…

Lenny Ibizarre is a Danish producer and musician from Copenhagen. He broke into Ibiza's music scene in 1997 with his debut album The Ambient Collection: "An amalgamation of slow-burning funked-up retro-grooves clad in subliminal soundscapes of tender melancholy and inner peace", as the press put it at the time. The album received great reviews from both the critics and chill-out DJs such as Jose Padilla from Cafe Del Mar with whom Lenny remixed and co-produced for a period of time. Within a year Lenny was remixing artists such as the Doors, Bob Dylan and Bob Marley. His Remix of Riders on the Storm made its mark and Lenny was called to produce his first movie soundtracks…

In 2000 they reached success with the production of ‘Movin’ Too Fast’ by Artful Dodger and Romina Johnson and ‘So Beautiful’ by Britalics (released on Azuli), with a string of records on the racks.

To coincide with the electronica revolution of the late '90s, Bill Laswell remixed a number of Bob Marley records as ambient dub for the Dreams of Freedom: Ambient Translations of Bob Marley in Dub album. If these songs were remixed by any other producer, the results could have been disastrous, but Laswell is one of the masters of intellectual dub – he knows what to take out and what to add, creating a spacious, cavernous mix that is provocative without being extreme. Some longtime Marley fans will balk at the very idea of the album, but the results are undeniably impressive, even if it's a little too restrained and cerebral to qualify as first-rate ambient dub for clubs.

Shades Of Orion (1993). The members of this Russian duo, Max K. (keyboards, music, sampling, market rituals) and Leonid M. (drums, programming, sound engineering, electronic manipulations) reside in Moscow and have been involved in electronic music since 1997. They met in 1998 and formed Cyclotimia shortly thereafter with the purpose of making experimental music together. They have subsequently become one of the most respected and well-known Russian projects in the electronic scene today. Cyclotimia's trademark sound proceeds from using a mix of the state-of-the-art synthesis technologies and vintage analog / Soviet machines. Their inspiration in global, free market aesthetics and using of religious samples makes Cyclotimia's message quite disturbing.

Disconnected (2001). Matthew Puffett, the producer behind Future Beat Alliance, is hardly a newcomer, having notched several 12" releases throughout the course of a decade. Perhaps that's part of why "Disconnected" sounds more like a third or fourth full-length, even though it's technically a debut. As a creator of warm, melodic techno, with roots firmly implanted in Detroit techno, both club-oriented and ambient-leaning, Puffett's talent is undeniably refined and assured. The album brings ten gorgeous warm funky tracks, with techno as main element, shifting towards deeper house and jazzy grooves as well. The album sums up what his music has been all about until now: futuristic, haunting for beauty, deep funkiness, groovy and there always seems a link with the original Detroit techno vibe…
