InsideOutMusic are very pleased to announce the signing of United Progressive Fraternity for the release of their debut album 'Fall In Love With The World' this November. Formed from the ashes of respected Australian progressive rockers Unitopia, the band sees Matt Williams, Dave Hopgood, Tim Irrgang & Mark 'Truey' Trueack joined by Guy Manning (Manning, The The Tangent), Daniel Mash (Maschine, The Tangent), & Marek Arnold. The forthcoming album also features guest appearances from Jon Anderson of Yes, as well as Steve Hackett of Genesis.
This average effort from Sonny Rollins and his regular sextet is most notable for two numbers ("For All We Know" and "I Should Care") that find Branford Marsalis joining Rollins in a quintet with pianist Tommy Flanagan. Unfortunately Marsalis makes the fatal error of trying to imitate Rollins (instead of playing in his own musical personality) and he gets slaughtered. Much better are Rollins's romps on "Tennessee Waltz" and "Falling in Love with Love."
This Girl's In Love With You is the eighteenth studio album by American singer Aretha Franklin, Released on January 15, 1970 by Atlantic Records. It reached Billboard's Top 20 and was reissued on compact disc through Rhino Records in the 1990s. Her version of The Beatles' "Let It Be" was the first recording of the song to be commercially issued (The Beatles did not release "Let It Be" as a single until March 1970). Franklin had been sent a demo of the song as a guide.
In Concert With The London Symphony Orchestra is a live album by British hard rock band Deep Purple, recorded on 25-26 September 1999 at the Royal Albert Hall in London with the London Symphony Orchestra, and released on 8 February, 2000 on Spitfire records. The album was a project started in 1999 by keyboardist Jon Lord, who sought to recreate the band's innovative 1969 album, Concerto for Group and Orchestra, of which the original score was lost. With the help of Marco de Goeij, a fan who was also a musicologist and composer, the two painstakingly recreated the lost score…
