Bach is in the air nasce da un piccolo miracolo, ed è Danilo Rea, pianista improvvisatore, con alle spalle un passato di studi classici, che intuisce ancor prima che questo miracolo accada, la genialità di poterlo realizzare. Ma la cosa più incredibile è che per la prima volta nella storia della musica, attraverso l'improvvisazione, Danilo rivoluziona e crea un intreccio insolubile con le versioni originali di Bach-Bahrami, in linguaggio jazzistico il suo messaggio universale.
